Laura Metune

Laura joined Lake Tahoe Community College’s senior leadership team in May 2020, as the Senior Director of Government Relations and Grant Development, where she focuses on advancing college goals through identifying and securing grants, and establishing strategic relationships with policymakers at the state and federal levels. Prior to joining LTCC, Laura spent nearly two decades working in California policy and politics, including as vice chancellor for the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, chief consultant for the Assembly Committee on Higher Education, chief of the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and as a Legislative Director and Policy Aide for various California legislators.
