TAHOE DATA

TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS WE NEED THE RIGHT INFORMATION

InTRODUCTION

The Tahoe Basin is made up of two states, four counties, and an incorporated city – all of whom collect data separately and differently. We are dedicated to collecting and analyzing data specifically for the Tahoe Basin.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

Because community indicators data informs policy decisions, funding allocations, non-profit efforts, transportation plans, housing development, and more! This data is how we measure the progress we’ve made, evaluate where we need to work differently, and ensure everyone is on the same page so we can face the challenges in the Basin as one regional economy. We cannot hope to address challenges and monitor progress within our communities if we don’t have data to prove the reality of these issues, which is why the Tahoe Prosperity Center, along with trusted data firms, will continue to produce accurate, Basin-centered information. Please view the most current Tahoe indicators data in our Measuring for Prosperity Report, produced with the aid of the Morgan Family Foundation and support from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and also read the most recent COVID-19 Economic Impact Report, produced in partnership with Beacon Economics and supported by all three Tahoe area community foundations.
