Alert Wildfire

In partnership with Tahoe Prosperity Center and University of Nevada Reno, please join us in expanding the network of life-saving AlertWildfire.org cameras to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.   

Currently there are operational cameras looking for wildfires on the West Shore placed in Alpine Meadows, Dollar Point, Homewood and Palisades, but the upper Blackwood Canyon area is a concerning blind spot.

A committed group of entrepreneurs and support organizations, Tahoe Inc aims to re-connect our growing number of innovators, nonprofits, business leaders, startups, and investors. Our programming includes physical coworking spaces, monthly roundtable gatherings focused on the specific needs of business founders and resource providers, and training sessions.

Tahoe Prosperity Center is the only bi-state community and economic development organization serving the entire Tahoe Basin. We bring together businesses, nonprofits, public agencies, and community leaders to advance shared solutions that strengthen Tahoe’s economy, communities, and environment.

Through regional collaboration, trusted data, entrepreneurship initiatives, and innovation partnerships, we help address the Basin’s most pressing challenges — including workforce development, housing, broadband connectivity, wildfire resilience, and economic diversification.

Tahoe Business Walks

Every two years, Tahoe Prosperity Center partners with local jurisdictions, chambers, and community organizations to connect directly with businesses across the Tahoe Basin. Business Walks are a chance to hear firsthand from employers and entrepreneurs about the opportunities and challenges facing Tahoe’s economy — from workforce needs and permitting to connectivity, customer trends, and business resilience. The insights gathered help inform regional priorities, strengthen collaboration, and shape data-driven solutions that support a thriving local economy.
