Kyle Zimbelman is the Economic and Business Relations Manager for El Dorado County. He oversees Economic Development efforts on behalf of the County and works with the business community on retention, expansion, and attraction initiatives. Economic Development’s strategic plan includes elements focused on housing, education, workforce development, and quality job creation. Kyle began his career in 2014 with the County as the Ombudsman in Community Development Agency. Kyle served as the point person for constituents and employees to bring issues to resolution and assisted in the initial implementation of the TRAKiT system, which is an integral new component of the County’s efforts to make it easier and more efficient for residents to conduct their planning and building business. Kyle lives in Apple Hill with his wife and four children. He received a B.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University.
