The Tahoe Prosperity Center’s 2026–2028 Strategic Plan outlines a shared path forward to advance a connected and resilient economy across the Tahoe Basin. Grounded in regional data, partner input, and more than a decade of collaborative work, the plan focuses on strengthening entrepreneurship, aligning workforce and economic systems, supporting innovation, and improving how the region works together. At its core, the strategy reflects TPC’s role as the Basin’s only bi-state convener for economic and community development—bringing public, private, and nonprofit partners together to address complex, cross-cutting challenges that no single organization can solve alone.
This three-year plan builds on proven successes while positioning the region to adapt to emerging opportunities and risks, from workforce pressures and wildfire resilience to access to capital and trusted regional data. By emphasizing collaboration, shared evidence, and community-led decision-making, the strategy aims to ensure Lake Tahoe remains not only a world-class destination, but a thriving place to live, work, and build a future.
