Tony Karwowski

A long-time resident of the North Lake Tahoe region, Tony is responsible for leading the organization as it fosters a thriving local community, reinvests tourism funding in support of community priorities, and encourages responsible travel along with environmental stewardship.

Prior to joining the NTCA, Tony was part of Northstar California Resort’s senior leadership team, serving as Director of Base Area Operations.  

While at Northstar, Karwowski was involved in employee housing, giving him first-hand experience with our regional housing gaps and opportunities, as well as how to welcome and integrate an influx of new residents into the culture and community.
