Tahoe Prosperity Center is a regional community and economic development organization – working in partnership with community and business leaders in Lake Tahoe to reach our goals of uniting Tahoe’s communities to strengthen regional prosperity.

Heidi Hill drum

Chief Executive Officer

Heidi Hill Drum has more than 25 years’ experience in public policy, communications and collaboration with government agencies, non-profit organizations, academia and business associations. Her background includes facilitating consensus-based solutions with government agencies and the public on issues ranging from California water disputes, public lands grazing, natural resources, transportation and economic planning. She has expertise implementing collaborative solutions, which make her especially suited to the role of CEO and the Tahoe Prosperity Center’s mission of uniting Tahoe’s communities to strengthen regional prosperity. She lives with her husband in Lake Tahoe. Together they have two sons and two dogs.

Bill Chan

Program Manager

Bill Chan is joining TPC as a program manager focused on broadband, housing and events. He brings years of experience working in Nevada and Washington, D.C. Chan was born and raised in Northern Nevada and returned to Reno after graduating from UCLA and working for Sen. Harry Reid in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Chan worked for Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto as a regional representative and as her Northern Nevada political director during the 2022 campaign. His issue area focus has included economic/workforce development, education, public safety, energy, labor, and conservation. Growing up, Chan spent many weekends snowboarding at Diamond Peak, but now utilizes most of his outdoor leisure time playing golf.

Derrick Martin

Program Manager

Derrick Martin will be a new program manager focused on implementing the Envision Tahoe Prosperity Playbook and has an extensive background in entrepreneurship and managing his own businesses. He joins the TPC team with over 15 years of experience in growing successful organizations and leading initiatives spanning the US and across the globe, from South Korea to Uruguay. He has fostered industry knowledge in multiple sectors including software development, blockchain finance, education, manufacturing and biotechnology. A passion for the outdoors and devotion to Lake Tahoe’s community has Martin excited to contribute his diverse framework in support of his family, local businesses, and neighbors through the Tahoe Prosperity Center’s critical missions.

Evelyn
Mejia Ronquillo

Office Manager

Evelyn Mejia Ronquillo is excited to join the Tahoe Prosperity Center team as the new office manager. She has over five years of experience as a division controller and office coordinator for a Reno-based landscaping company. Born and raised in Northern Nevada, the Lake Tahoe area has always been a staple in her life. Additionally, she is the current president of a local women’s choir. In her spare time, Evelyn enjoys participating in theater productions and supporting local artists. She looks forward to making a positive impact on the Tahoe Basin community.

Erin Jones

Finance Manager

Erin was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California. Upon graduating high school, Erin moved to the Northern Nevada area, to attend University of Nevada, Reno. Erin graduated in 2009, with a Bachelors in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting. She loved the area so much that she decided to make Northern Nevada her home. Erin is the founder and managing shareholder of Belle Business Services, LLC. She is a Nevada registered Certified Public Accountant and is passionate about helping local non-profits grow and achieve financial success.
