Since 2010, the teams created shared community visions for the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, and the Towns of Minden, Gardnerville, and Genoa. Revitalized the historic Town of Genoa with $2.6 million in improvements; built more than 70 miles of trails; identified funding for construction and operation of the 84,000 sq. ft. Community & Senior Center, developed targeted outreach to the local advanced manufacturing sector resulting in an 11% business growth for the sector in Douglas County in seven years and granted more than $500,000 in assistance to small businesses during the pandemic. All this has led to more than $750 million in private-sector business investment in Douglas County.
